Human factors in schools

There are simply not enough suitably qualified human factors professionals to keep up with increasing demand.

To address this imbalance, one of Mark Young’s key goals during his presidency of the CIEHF has been to increase the awareness of human factors amongst secondary school children and encourage them to pursue a career in this discipline.

However, as ergonomics and human factors isn’t explicitly on the curriculum, students don’t know what opportunities are available to them when choosing what to study both at school and in further education.

Join Mark for this meet-up to discuss:

·       How to raise awareness of ergonomics in schools
·       What links and opportunities are available
·       The aims and objectives for the programme
