Showcase for medical device design

We’re excited to announce that our Ergonomics & Human Factors conference in 2025 will see the launch of a new dedicated track focused on the application of human factors to medical devices and combination products.

The one-day session will showcase research and case studies, and will also include a workshop and keynote. We invite submissions from medical device manufacturers, pharma, consultancy, regulatory bodies and academia, to champion the role of human factors in this sector.

Submissions should contribute towards the advancement of human factors knowledge within medical devices and combination products, not only creating a safer healthcare system but maximising commercial success and end user satisfaction.

If you’d like to be part of this ever-growing community and raise the profile of human factors in this sector, we want to hear from you. We’re only looking for two pages for your initial submission and you can flex the template to suit your needs.

The submission deadline for this track is 13 December (for all other papers, it’s 1 December).
